Carbon Fiber Sandwich Sheets with Core
DragonPlate offers a variety of carbon fiber sandwich sheets with cores. Our carbon fiber sandwich products are available in standard, high modulus and ultra high modulus carbon fiber.
What is a Sandwich Structure?
A composite sandwich sheet combines the superior strength and stiffness properties of carbon fiber with a lower density core material. In the case of Dragonplate sandwich sheets, the carbon fiber creates a thin laminate skin over a core material. By strategically combining a core material with carbon fiber skins, we are able to create a final product with a much higher stiffness to weight ratio than with either alone. For applications where weight is critical, Dragonplate carbon fiber sandwich sheets may be the right fit for you.
