DragonPlate offers a range of large modular tube connectors that make it easy and reliable to connect our roll-wrapped and braided carbon fiber tubes with inner diameters of 1.25", 1.5", and 1.75". These patented aluminum connectors allow you to connect carbon fiber tubes to build large yet disassemblable, complex structures in 2D and 3D shapes. To ensure optimum bonding, use our recommended adhesive, the Scotch-Weld 2216 epoxy, to attach the connectors to the ends of your carbon fiber tubes.

Assembling our modular connectors is a simple process that requires minimal effort. First, prepare the inside of the tube by lightly sanding it, then apply adhesive and insert the connector. There is no need for complex fixturing, screwing, or drilling of tubes. Our patented design creates a superior bond that does not require drilling holes, which can compromise the strength of composite tubes.
