1" Friction Grip Clevis Joints

DragonPlate's Friction Grip Clevis Connector is the ideal solution for achieving dependable control of positioning joints. This connector allows you to secure the joint at any angle and provides a consistent grip over numerous cycles. DragonPlate friction joints are perfect for creating adjustable, weight-bearing connections. 

The Friction Grip Clevis is constructed with two G10 composite washers and a thin clevis finger. When tightened, it flexes, providing a large clamping surface against the dual washers. This design results in a robust and adjustable high-strength grip joint.

The Handle version of our Friction Grip Clevis adds a position-adjustable handle to easily set the torque and friction by hand without needing tools.

Clevis Connector Compatibility

DragonPlate tube connectors offer a simple and durable solution for connecting our 1" carbon fiber tubes, allowing you to create lightweight structures.

All our 1” female clevis connectors are compatible with our 1” male clevis connectors for both tube and plate mounting, along with our 1” two-hole and three-hole links. The possibilities for creating different joints are limitless.
