An inexpensive, non-structural foam core. DragonPlate Depron foam core composites are designed to be extremely lightweight. A Depron carbon fiber foam core laminate has the strength and stiffness of a carbon fiber laminate, but lacks the compressive strength and crushing resistance of a structural foam core. The lay-up design is quasi-isotropic, consisting of three layers of carbon fiber on each side of a 6mm Depron foam core center. Available in gloss, matte or texture on one side and texture on other side for bonding to other surfaces.
