Ball Joint, Nut Lock, 1/4-20

The Nut Lock Ball Joint incorporates a two-part screw and nut design that clamps over a ball with a ¼-20 threaded stud. When the nut is loosened, the ball can pivot within a 45° cone around the vertical axis. The connector base has a countersunk threaded hole, allowing two mounting options. In the first scenario, a flat-head screw is threaded through the connector from above so that the head of the screw sits below the ball within the countersunk hole. This allows the Nut Lock Ball Joint to be mounted to any ¼-20 threaded hole, including the 0.75”, 0.875”, or 1” DragonPlate End Thread Modular Connector, the Modular Cube for 1” Connectors, and Modular 1x2 / 1X3 Block for 0.75” & 1” Connectors. 

In the second scenario, the Nut Lock Ball Joint is mounted to a plate from below with any ¼-20 fastener, making it compatible with the DragonPlate Flange for Modular Connectors.
