This floating nut plate is designed for through-hole mounting applications. The orange rubber fixture holds the part in the through hole while it is bonded in place with a epoxy adhesive. The fixture keeps the threads clean during bonding. Remove the rubber fixture when you are ready to make up the assembly. The threaded nut floats allowing accurate bolt alignment. Use for all types of mounting applications.
