The unidirectional layers are oriented to provide high bending stiffness and axial strength, as well as high hoop strength (resistance to crushing from a side load).  These tubes are tapered, where one end diameter is greater than the other end.

Tube diameter is 0.765" ID on one end and 0.415" ID on the other end.  Wall thickness is approximately 0.02". Finish is gloss.
