By alternating 0 and 90 degree plies, the stiffness of this sheet is identical along the two principal axes. Whereas 0 degree uni sheet has the highest stiffness along a single direction (at the expense of the perpendicular direction), the 0/90 degree uni sheet provides a good balance between mechanical property uniformity and cost. This option is suitable for applications where the loads may be along two directions.

As for all of our carbon fiber laminates, we recommend preparing the surfaces by lightly sanding before bonding or painting.

This sheet has a satin twill outer layer on both sides giving it a classic carbon fiber look.
