DragonPlate solid Carbon/Kevlar Hybrid Sheets are ideal for applications where a balance between stiffness and toughness must be achieved. Comprising 50% carbon fiber and 50% Kevlar in a twill weave throughout, this sheet presents a unique black and yellow appearance. Although Kevlar is not as stiff as carbon fiber, it offers higher puncture and fracture toughness. Because it is a tougher material, however, these panels may be slightly more difficult to trim than our standard carbon fiber sheets.
