What is the Telescoping Tube Clamp for connecting 2.125" ID tube to 1.875" ID tube?

The Telescoping Tube Clamp is a component offered by DragonPlate designed to securely connect a 2.125-inch inner diameter (ID) carbon fiber tube to a 1.875-inch ID tube. It is part of DragonPlate's modular system for telescoping carbon fiber tubes, enabling adjustable-length assemblies for applications such as robotics, camera rigs, and lightweight structural frameworks. Note: Detailed mechanical specifications for this specific clamp are not publicly documented; refer to DragonPlate's technical documentation or contact support for precise details.

What types of telescoping tubes and connectors does DragonPlate offer?

DragonPlate offers a wide range of telescoping tubes and connectors, including round, square, rectangular, hexagonal, airfoil, tapered, braided, roll-wrapped, and pultruded tubes. The telescoping tube system includes adjustable, nesting tubes and a variety of end effectors and clamps for modular assembly. Note: Not all tube sizes and connector types may be compatible; check product documentation for compatibility details.

Features & Capabilities

What are the key features of DragonPlate's telescoping tube clamps and connectors?

DragonPlate's telescoping tube clamps and connectors are engineered for high strength-to-weight ratio, durability, and modularity. They are designed to enable quick assembly and adjustment of carbon fiber tube structures, making them suitable for applications in robotics, UAVs, camera rigs, and industrial automation. The clamps are compatible with DragonPlate's carbon fiber tubes and are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. Note: For impact-critical applications, consider Kevlar or carbon/Kevlar hybrid products for enhanced toughness.

How does DragonPlate ensure the performance and reliability of its telescoping tube systems?

DragonPlate uses advanced engineering tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimize the design of its telescoping tube systems, reducing material waste and improving manufacturing efficiency. The products are designed for high strength, durability, and environmental resistance, and are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification. Note: Performance may vary depending on specific application requirements; consult technical documentation for guidance.

Technical Requirements & Documentation

Where can I find technical documentation and CAD models for DragonPlate telescoping tube clamps?

Technical documentation, including downloadable CAD models, weights, specifications, and surface finish details, is available at dragonplate.com/cad-models and dragonplate.com/dragonplate-weights-specs. For comprehensive design and application guidance, refer to The Ultimate Guide to Carbon Fiber Design and Application. Note: Some documentation may require account registration or direct inquiry for access.

Are DragonPlate telescoping tube clamps compatible with all DragonPlate tube types?

DragonPlate telescoping tube clamps are designed to be compatible with specific tube sizes and types within the DragonPlate product line. Compatibility depends on the inner and outer diameters of the tubes and the clamp design. Always verify compatibility using the technical specifications or by consulting DragonPlate support before purchase. Note: Not all tube and clamp combinations are interchangeable.
