By adding +45 and -45 plies to the 0/90 degree uni sheets, this carbon fiber sheet has more uniform mechanical properties than the 0/90 degree sheets. For applications where off-axis or torsional loads may be present, quasi-isotropic carbon fiber sheets provide near axis-symmetry stiffness properties, allowing greater adaptability to intricate parts and complex load patterns.

As for all of our carbon fiber laminates, we recommend preparing thesurfaces by lightly sanding before bonding or painting.

This sheet has a satin twill outer layer on both sides giving it a classic carbon fiber look.
